With the festive period now past and the evenings becoming lighter, the momentum at Mosaic is very much with the construction teams, as they put the final elements together on the Warehouse extension.
In such a short space of time, we’ve seen the building change from its steel frame, to a watertight, fully lit and clad entity that as we move into March, is getting nearer to completion.
An important step was taken in the last week of February that saw the concrete mixing trucks arrive onsite and the warehouse floor start being poured:
The vast size of new build (45,000 sq. ft) and its height (enough for 11-meter double racking space) can clearly be seen here:
Around the York House, the planting of 10,000 trees can be seen, in the background the Warehouse extension alongside the original building:
Once fully grown the trees will form part of nature reserve on site, rendering the construction project carbon natural and forming an awesome view when viewed from all approaches:
If you have any questions or would like to discuss any areas of the build, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
